About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic individuals for the role of Retail Executive - Counter Sales at our novelty shop located in Shillong. This position involves managing the retail counter efficiently, providing excellent customer service, and assisting customers with their purchases.
Ideal candidates should have a minimum educational qualification of 10th grade and reside in Shillong or nearby areas. This role requires a friendly demeanor and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be expected to work from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, with a one-hour lunch break. We offer a competitive salary of INR 12,000 per month, providing a great opportunity for those looking to start their career in retail.
What you'll do
- Greeting and interacting with customers
- Manage walk-in customers at Shillong Retail Shop,
- Understand their needs and show products,
- Sale novelty products & cross-selling of relevant products
- Selecting and suggesting options suitable for the customer's needs
- Payment collection from customers
What you'll need
- It is a Full Time Retail / Store Sales job for female candidates
- Communication Skills,
- Can negotiate with customers,
- Should know local language,
- Local area knowledge of Shillong,
